December

Thankfully, December has been a busy month. Haven't had much time to update my blog. I did some more holiday portraits and cards. I also finished my lighting class. I'm now a "graduate" from the Johnny Knight school of lighting :-) It was great. I highly recommend all CPC classes for anyone interested in photography. I'll post a few of my portraits and assignments.

Holiday Portraits

I had a really fun time at this shoot. These boys were hilarious. I got some fabulous shots of them. This is my absolute favorite picture from the shoot. Priceless. Oh and don't forget the dog.

Karsh Lighting

In my advanced lighting class I had to recreate the lighting of a Yousuf Karsh photo of Bogart. Here are the results. Classic. It was fun.

Thanksgiving

We had all the cousins here for thanksgiving. Unfortunately Lucas was asleep. But we were able to get Christmas portraits of the Hasmoneks of Northbrook done in studio B.

I got my muslins!

My muslins (backdrop material) arrived yesterday! And naturally I put them up immediately.
My kids, once again, were my less than eager guinea pigs. We actually all had a great time.

Studio

Had a fun photo shoot with Carolyn in studio G recently.
Here are some of the images. We had a great time. She played the guitar & sang the Eagles while the shoot was going on. Good times. I was playing with high key, low key and my new backdrop paper.

Halloween 2007

Oooh my first blog!
This will be fun.
My children were very cooperative with me taking their Halloween photo on the front stoop. They had had their costumes on all day at school and mommy wanted a photo before it got too dark. ( I bribed them with candy ) Works every time.
